Blinds and shutters
You are on site.A blind is stuck.Marianna picks up.
She takes the address, the nature of the fault and the call-back number, then passes the record on to you. She puts a figure on nothing: the quote stays yours.
On the call
What she is told, and what she does with it.
“Il y a eu de l'orage cette nuit, la toile de mon store de terrasse est déchirée et le bras pend, je n'ose plus y toucher.”
“On refait la terrasse ce printemps et j'aimerais une pergola avec des lamelles qui s'ouvrent, est-ce que quelqu'un peut venir voir sur place ?”
“Ma porte de garage s'est arrêtée à mi-hauteur ce matin et ma voiture est coincée dedans, je dois partir travailler.”
These sentences are in French, and they stay that way: Marianna's job description is written in French, which is the language in which she receives her instructions. On the phone, she answers in the caller's own language.
The calls she recognises
Every call has its family.
A family says what must be asked before recording. With no address, a job does not go out: it is our server that refuses it, not only her voice.
- Réparation ou dépannage
- Demande de devis ou nouveau projet
- Visite du showroom
- Suivi de commande ou de chantier
- Facture ou paiement
- Régie, architecte ou entreprise
- Démarchage ou publicité
What she never says
The same refusals, in every trade.
- No price, not even a rough one. The quote stays yours.
- No date, no lead time for the job. It is your team that commits.
- Nothing invented: no guarantee, no state of progress, no colleague's name.
The next call, leave it to Marianna.
You keep your number. She picks up in your name, and you receive the record.
