Cleaning and caretaking

You are up on the floors.A managing agent is trying to reach you.Marianna picks up.

She takes the calls from managing agents and tenants, and notes the building and what the request is about. She commits to neither a rate nor a date.

On the call

What she is told, and what she does with it.

“Je rends mon appartement à la fin du mois et il me faut un nettoyage complet avant l'état des lieux.”

“Je gère un immeuble et notre concierge nous quitte, j'aimerais savoir ce que vous proposez pour l'entretien des communs.”

“Nos bureaux n'ont pas été nettoyés ce lundi matin, les poubelles sont pleines et on reçoit des clients aujourd'hui.”

These sentences are in French, and they stay that way: Marianna's job description is written in French, which is the language in which she receives her instructions. On the phone, she answers in the caller's own language.

The calls she recognises

Every call has its family.

A family says what must be asked before recording. With no address, a job does not go out: it is our server that refuses it, not only her voice.

  • Demande de devis
  • Intervention ponctuelle
  • Contrat de nettoyage régulier
  • Réclamation sur un passage
  • Facture ou paiement
  • Régie, gérance ou entreprise
  • Démarchage ou publicité

What she never says

The same refusals, in every trade.

  • No price, not even a rough one. The quote stays yours.
  • No date, no lead time for the job. It is your team that commits.
  • Nothing invented: no guarantee, no state of progress, no colleague's name.

The next call, leave it to Marianna.

You keep your number. She picks up in your name, and you receive the record.
