Garages and body shops

You are under a car.The phone rings in the workshop.Marianna picks up.

She notes the vehicle as the customer describes it, what has gone wrong and the call-back number. She promises no time and no price, and diagnoses nothing.

On the call

What she is told, and what she does with it.

“Ma voiture ne démarre plus ce matin, vous pouvez la prendre aujourd'hui ?”

“Je voudrais un rendez-vous pour le service et le changement des pneus d'hiver.”

“Ma voiture est prête ? Je peux passer la chercher ?”

These sentences are in French, and they stay that way: Marianna's job description is written in French, which is the language in which she receives her instructions. On the phone, she answers in the caller's own language.

The calls she recognises

Every call has its family.

A family says what must be asked before recording. With no address, a job does not go out: it is our server that refuses it, not only her voice.

  • Panne ou problème sur le véhicule
  • Rendez-vous d'atelier
  • Devis, carrosserie ou réparation à chiffrer
  • Suivi d'un véhicule à l'atelier
  • Facture ou paiement
  • Assurance, flotte d'entreprise ou fournisseur
  • Démarchage ou publicité

What she never says

The same refusals, in every trade.

  • No price, not even a rough one. The quote stays yours.
  • No date, no lead time for the job. It is your team that commits.
  • Nothing invented: no guarantee, no state of progress, no colleague's name.

The next call, leave it to Marianna.

You keep your number. She picks up in your name, and you receive the record.
